Elisabeth comments, "My role at Ovarian Cancer Canada is compelling – and a challenge which I welcome. Each day I am meeting women my own age who are battling this dreadful disease – and I am determined to contribute to the cause so that Ovarian Cancer Canada can make a difference in the fight against it. As a much-neglected issue, there is a limitless scope of opportunity for awareness, which will lead to both increased education for women, and increased allocation of dollars to research. Building partnerships to make our vision a reality is an important stepping stone."
