Women and men of all ages need to understand the risks and the realities of ovarian cancer which is the 5th most fatal cancer for women.
Our goal is to make all Canadians aware of ovarian cancer so that everyone can recognize the signs and symptoms of the disease. Ovarian cancer is extremely hard to detect so until there is a reliable early detection test, our best tool is ensuring that everyone is familiar with the disease. We hope that once you hear the facts you will be highly motivated to share this information with your friends and family.
Ovarian Cancer: Knowledge is Power
Ovarian Cancer: Knowledge is Power is an education and awareness program designed to help effectively spread the word about the subtle signs and symptoms of ovarian cancer.
The Knowledge is Power program is a free presentation which can be tailored to fit any time slot and is delivered by a staff member or by one of our trained volunteers. It can be presented in a variety of venues including at community centres, in the workplace, places of worship, etc.
