Ovarian Cancer Canada’s Signature Events
Every year in September on the first Sunday after Labour Day, hundreds of volunteers and thousands of walkers in more than 45 cities across Canada participate in the Ovarian Cancer Canada Walk of Hope to raise awareness, funds and support for ovarian cancer. Ovarian cancer is known as "the disease that whispers", but that all changes during one single day in September when Canadians from coast-to-coast come together to build a caring community to overcome this serious disease.

LOVE HER is a fun, entertaining and fashionable evening designed to raise awareness and crucial funds for ovarian cancer – the most fatal women’s cancer.
The Expedition of Hope is a once in a lifetime opportunity to hike Mount Kilimanjaro with a group of ovarian cancer survivors, family members and friends affected by the disease and other people who believe in raising funds to overcome ovarian cancer.
The expedition is facilitated by Macon Dunnagan who has climbed Mount Kilimanjaro 25 times and through Tanzanian tour operator Zara Tours.
