Ovarian Cancer Canada has established this award to acknowledge the exemplary work of nurses in gynecology-oncology nursing with a focus on ovarian cancer. The purpose of this award is to promote the dissemination of information related to the nursing care of women with ovarian cancer or their families.

• This award will be presented to a CANO/ACIO member who presents the best paper or poster in the area of gynecology-oncology nursing with an ovarian cancer focus at the annual CANO/ACIO conference.
• The presentation may reflect clinical practice, education or research related to the ovarian cancer population.
• The award, which will be presented at the closing ceremonies at the annual conference, consists of an honorarium ($1,500) and a framed recognition certificate.
