The Society of Gynecologic Oncology of Canada (GOC)

GOC is a nonprofit organization comprised of physicians, nurses, scientists and other health professionals who specialize in gynecologic oncology. To improve the care of women with, or at risk of developing, gynecologic cancer; GOC focuses on raising standards, encouraging ongoing research, promoting innovation in prevention, care and discovery, and advancing awareness. The organization also disseminates knowledge to practitioners, patients and the general public on gynecologic cancer in cooperation with other organizations committed to women's health care, oncology, and related fields.
Ovarian Cancer Canada meets regularly with the membership of GOC to ensure alignment as we advance prevention and treatment of ovarian cancer and improve the patient journey. These organizations also partner to award the GOC/OCC Bruce Galloway Trainee Grants. To honour this important partnership, Ovarian Cancer Canada reserves a seat on its Board of Directors for a member of GOC.
Cancer Research Society (CRS)

The CRS is a national not-for-profit organization with the sole mission of funding research on all types of cancer, thereby contributing to the advancement of science aimed at preventing, detecting, and treating this disease. Ovarian Cancer Canada has partnered with the CRS to support ovarian cancer research grants.
Canadian Coalition for Genetic Fairness (CCGF)

The CCGF is a coalition of organizations taking aim against discrimination based on genetic make-up. To create change, the Coalition educates Canadians about genetic discrimination and influences relevant organizations, as well as governments at the federal, provincial, and territorial levels. Ovarian Cancer Canada is a member of the CCGF.

The CanCertainty Coalition is made up of over 30 Canadian patient groups, cancer health charities, and caregiver organizations that are committed to ensuring that all Canadians have fair and equal access to oral take-home cancer medications, regardless of age, cancer type, treatment type, or where they live. Ovarian Cancer Canada is a member of the coalition.
