Event Details

IGCS and IGCAN warmly invite you to the 2026 Advocacy Summit on Saturday, October 3, in Montreal, Quebec.

For those less familiar with us: IGCS (the International Gynecologic Cancer Society) is a global professional organization dedicated to improving care and outcomes for people affected by gynecologic cancers. IGCAN is its advocacy network, created by and for patients, survivors, and caregivers who are turning lived experience into action. This Summit is IGCAN’s flagship gathering, held alongside the IGCS Annual Global Meeting.

Throughout the day, attendees will:

  • Hear directly from other patients, survivors, and caregivers in “Same Cancer, Different Postal Codes,” a candid look at how geography shapes access to care
  • Explore turning personal experience into advocacy in “Your Voice, Your Power”
  • Receive an introduction to patient-reported outcomes and what they mean for future care
  • See community-led advocacy projects from around the world through oral and poster presentations
  • Take part in an interactive art therapy session — no experience or artistic skill required
  • Build lasting connections with a community that extends well beyond the day itself

Coffee and lunch are included, and registration is free.
