Raising FUN and Funds from Coast to Coast
July 17, 2019
We’re so excited to have so many supporters and donors across Canada come out every year to community and gala fundraising events that channel dollars into action on ovarian cancer. Held in a selection of cities across Canada, LOVE HER and THE LADY BALL galas – organized and sponsored by dedicated community volunteers and local partners – provide ample opportunity for merriment, encouragement, and inspiration, all in support of saving women’s lives.
For the first time ever THE LADY BALL touched down in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, on May 30th. Featuring food, hilarious entertainment, a silent auction, and a fashion show, the event helped to raise over $75,000 to help women diagnosed with ovarian cancer and all those at risk of the disease, live fuller, better and longer lives. What an accomplishment!

We thank our supporters in Charlottetown, and across the country, for their generous and ongoing support and commitment to this important cause. Through events like this one, and the many other events organized by passionate community partners and volunteers across Canada, we are making a difference and changing the future of this disease.
When’s the next gala event? Well if you’re in the Halifax area this September, be sure to check out the The LADY BALL Halifax.
