Education Programs
Until there is a reliable early detection test for ovarian cancer, transferring knowledge and empowering individuals is a priority.
We offer knowledge programs that especially meet the unique needs of a variety of audiences including individuals, corporations and health care professionals. Our goal is to make all Canadians aware of ovarian cancer, as all women are at risk for developing this disease.
Ovarian cancer is extremely hard to detect. We hope that once you hear the facts you will be highly motivated to share this information with your friends and family.
Knowledge is Power
Ovarian cancer: Knowledge is Power is a program designed to help effectively spread the word about the facts, risks and signs and symptoms of ovarian cancer.
The program is a free presentation which can be tailored to fit any time and is delivered by a staff member or by one of our trained volunteers. It can be presented in a variety of venues including at community centres, in the workplace, in your home or at seminars and conferences.
