Access a variety of support and resources in your area or online from the comfort of your home. Here you will find local support groups, online communities and informative resources focused on living with ovarian cancer.
Ovarian Cancer Canada offers comprehensive guides to support and inform women who have been diagnosed with ovarian cancer. By Your Side is for those who have received a new diagnosis. Still By Your Side is specifically for women who are facing recurrence. Printed and electronic versions of these resources are provided free of charge across Canada.
OVdialogue is an online community where women with ovarian cancer can connect with one another for advice and encouragement. This secure discussion board is professionally moderated and available anytime, anywhere. It was built with guidance from women who have personally experienced ovarian cancer, as well as leading experts, so that every woman living with this disease will always have someone by her side. Participants share experiences, and ask questions on a host of topics including drugs and side effects, anxiety and depression, coping mechanisms, and fear of recurrence.
Get to know others who can relate to your journey. Studies show that receiving support has a positive effect on quality of life. Search your region for support groups that meet in-person on a regular basis.
